Currently, (to my understanding) you can't use the same method of displaying descriptions in thumbnail mode and slideshow mode. I like how you see the full image in slideshow mode, however, The way you're able to display descriptions across the bottom in an transparent bar, and then collapse it in thumb mode is also neat. It seems like a clean cut way to display descriptions.

So, I just think it'd be neat if you could have that effect when seeing the full versions of the image, and get the best of both worlds. Probably make my day. : )

Let me comment this, also taking into regards the topic you have here: viewtopic.php?p=6351

There is actually a setting to set the text/description in the slideshow module to appear over the image at the bottom, also with an optional semi-opaque backdrop. However, there is no scrolling functionality, and this option is so little tested that Im not sure I even wanna attempt to document it.

I can assure you that we will work out further satisfactory options for description for a future version. Thanks for your comments -
