Imagevue php minor update (short open tags <? issue fix)

For those of you who have short php open tags (<?) disabled on your servers, we put online new version which uses <?php only. Although it was tested, some minor issues might occur - feel free to PM me.

Note: This applies only to those who have issues on their servers, nothing else was changed. To check if you really have problems try GDtest in /upload/test directory. If you will see some garbled output then you have this problem, so re-download Imagevue.

I have downloaded the last version V1.17.8 end of september.
I have the "short_open_tag" problem, with easyphpV2 or wamp5, programs for local test imagevue parameters. (php5...)
When i modify in the php.ini of this programs,"short_open_tag"= "off" to "on", the probleme is resolved with this two programs.
I think that the last version is perhaps not completly standard with this short_open_tag parameter
sorry for my poor english

Well, download 1.8, unfortunately after initial effort some old files creeped in, but we managed to repack it once for all again ;)

I am running 1.8 and still have the thumbnails not appearing, well SOME of them. I have a bunch of dir that are fine, where others won't show a single thumbnail, even if I manually make them and put them in the folder (with the tn_ added)

that php.ini file doesn't seem to exsist (I did a search for all ini files in the imagevue directory, its not there)

so not exactly sure what I'm missing here :(

I ran that gdtest thing you mentioned and got this...
GD2 Probe:

If everything is okay you should see a green mark below,
otherwise contact your hosting provider.

PHPInfo:
ImageCreateFromJpeg...OK
ImageCreateTrueColor...OK
ImageCopyResampled...OK

Verdict: OK

Most likely, if thumbnails work for some folders and for others not, it may be related to the foldername or image names. Perhaps you have alink to your gallery with some examples or working and non-working thumbnails?
