Linkable Image folders

I would like to be able to hyper link from articles in the website news stories to specific image folders within the Gallery.
You can already do that with the "folder" parameter: https://www.photo.gallery/support/docs/117
You could also do it likewise and simply point to a slideshow folder: https://www.photo.gallery/support/docs/452
