I noticed a good amount of spam lately here and as a
temporary solution new users would not be able to
'auto-create' an account but rather have to have their
accounts confirmed by an admin... viable?

Nah, thats too much load on us, have to change question i think.

Cleaned up once again, human question mod somehow disapeared, sorry bout amount of spam recently. If someome legit was killed, my apologies.

Uff, reinstalled forum and everything from scratch, should be ok now, sorry if someone been accidently killed in the process.

I would suggest this feature for imagevuex e.g. member registers for the album (password protected) and the admin has to approve the account.

Not sure its that beneficial really, afterall if i approve bot it will come back after receiving email from me. Because there is email activation enabled right now, so they obviously can receive mail and extract link from it.

Doesn't this forum have the ability to ban by IP?

Of 136525 items that were initially greylisted:
- 33664 ( 24.7%) became whitelisted
- 102861 ( 75.3%) expired from the greylist
