Sorry, I am not quite sure I understand the issue ... Do you have it hidden or not? If you still have this item visible, obviously this button will not work in the mobile version since there is no "fullscreen" function. In the final release, you will be able to select which folders (menu items) are available for the different frontends. For example, you can set the fullscreen button to only be visible for the flash gallery.

You mean you made a bookmark? I will take a look at this ...

To select the Folders that are shown would be the solution to this problem. I now have disabled the fullscreen-link. The strange thing was, that not only the fullscreen-link didn't work on the mobile devices (what is obvious) but none of the other links worked, too.

I got it...
I have disabled the Global /Startpage Header by commenting it with <!-- -->
That worked in Safari, but other browsers or the Home-Screen-Link had problems with it ;)
Sorry, my fault

Is there a way to make it work?
Doesnt work in what way? got a link?

I copied my theme from previous version into the iv-config/themes folder as suggested, but it still shows the default theme. And now after deleting that theme the text is not visible in the menu. The link is portfolio.grimur.net (2.8 beta) http://portfolio.grimur.net To see how it should look like check out here: http://portfolio.grimur.net/iv-v2.7

grimurnet:

You need to copy this file http://portfolio.grimur.net/iv-v2.7/iv- ... Config.xml
To here: http://portfolio.grimur.net/iv-config/t ... config.xml

There is a migration script included, it should do all the work for you if you upgrade by overwriting the old installation. But I guess you uploaded v2.8 in a separate folder and migrate manually.

!
Just checked, everything seems ok. It might be a bit slower when you open the gallery for the first time because it caches pages, but even then - it works with a single tap.

I've done that but doesn't change anything. Also strange it doesn't matter what theme I choose, all of them are hiding the text in the menu
I copied the theme from previous version and deleted everything else and uploaded a clean copy of 2.8.

But the theme config file did not appear: http://portfolio.grimur.net/iv-config/t ... config.xml so the theme can't be picked up fully.

I see you copied it: http://portfolio.grimur.net/iv-config/t ... Config.xml but you got to rename it to config.xml

That worked, thanks :-)
But the menu items are strange, there is no text visible and it is so small. It doesn't matter what theme I choose it is always not visible.
I have checked all settings and theme and can't see why it is like this

I did some research and found the cause in the end ... For some reason, in your settings -> menu.mainmenu.items, you have selected only "node". You have somehow deselected the title so the title itself is not visible. This seems to be stored in your user config:

Thanks a lot for the help :-) I didn't realize that was hiding the text, but it is somehow obvious. Thanks a million, everything is working now :-)
You guys are doing a great job, I'm really happy with the mobile version and am looking forward to the new dedicated html version.

A few more issues...

1. Every now and then I get to the thumbnail page but can click on the thumbnails.
2. When I use my fingers to expand the picture... the web page expands and it is hard to recover to a place where navigation is smooth. The buttons and text get overly large and I end up having to close the browser and re-start. I think users are going to attempt to expand/contract pictures with their fingers... would be nice to figure out a solution that either lets them do it... or prevents them. Not sure what is possible.
3. Every now and then the thumbnail page has 6 thumbnails across... way too small. I have specified 3 in the admin.

I have cleared my cache, I am running Android on an HTC Incredible with yesterday's build.

Hey!

Does this
Nick wrote:Fix for image paths in flash
refers to images in textpages as well? Inserting a picture using the editor does not work. I can select the picture from the image list but the path is wrong, e.g. it shows
Code
nature/flowers/lily.jpg
It works when adding "content"
Code
content/nature/flowers/lily.jpg

I'm really looking forward to this feature! Would it be possible to select specific files (images, videos) in a folder as well? I'm thinking of FLV files for flash gallery and MP4 files for the mobile frontend in one folder...

Thanks for this great gallery! :D

The solution which you looking for would be here:

Currently there's no other solution in this case, so we have to wait until the final release...

Hi There,

First of all, this new mobile version is awesome! I have been waiting for this for a long time.
Since i did the upgrade tot the Beta version everything seems to work fine bud now I discovered that the creation of thumbnails in the Admin is no longer working properly. The map rights etc did not changed and the admin is saying that the creation of the thumbs was done correctly bud the only thing I see for the new pictures is a standard Imagevue picture with a palm tree.
Is it possible that this issue is caused by the Beta version or is this more like a server side issue?

Here some more details:

- The re-creation of the OLD pictures is still possible!
- The creation of NEW pictures is not possible!
- On the Diagnostics pages everything is green (OK) including the File System, PHP check and the modules check.
- Every map and file on the server is CMOD 777

Regards Erik
