There is an Upload Files button in the Manage section. Open then folder you'd like to upload to and look for the button, bottom right.

I would use FTP ... but that's me
Ehh well go to your installation dir/imagevue/
Login using username and password.
The go to manage ...create a directory on the right hand side and then on the right bottom is upload files( Max is 8MB)

That should do it

We do have a quickstart guide here https://www.photo.gallery/v2docs/quickstart/ but I guess you are looking for some further instructions on using the admin itself. I may add that soon, but keep in mind the admin may be changed. Currently we are focusing on getting things to work before we spend too much time on the design and layout.
