Hi,

I have tried to install the V2, and got it to find all files, but still not working.

I have not added the files through the admin section, as that is not feasible for me for others albums with around 1100 different folders.

Is there anything I can do to avoid manual uploads?

I also have another problem: I cannot find where to define the image that will be displayed in the cover.

Display as cover: that is [Preview image] dropdown.

I have set the preview image, but one a folder that is not the top level :

./album/placeA/date/ --> preview image: mypic.jpg

This is not working.. I did through the admin page.

Just for a trial, I've placed a pic in the main page and then set Preview Image to that pic - and it worked fine.

Is it possible to set the preview image on the top level folder to a pic in the sub-directory?

Also: Is it shown as an album. In the old version, it would be an animation waiting the visitor to chose an album to surf on. I really like that feature, and in the main page I want just one pic to be shown.

Is that also still possible?

Right now you can set preview image only for current folder and only from images in that folder. Actually this part is in works too.

OK - That's fine for now... but what about the animation?

Before we used to have a nice animation for the cover site! Are you planning that also for V2? I really think that is a good introduction effect to the album!

Yes, it's one of the last milestones to build an optional startimage module with some nice effects. Feel free to provide any suggestions, although I am sure we will provide a similar effect as in V1.

You can not currently set a startimage, only startfolder. We will provide some functionality like startimage when we work out the startimage modules.

One thing (when you guys get there) I would like to see is the ability to set a starting directory that it randomly picks an image from OR a starting image that it always used AND the ability to choose things like use the most recently added folder / image as the starting directory / image.
