Is it possible to change the menu name from "Gallery Menu" to something else?

Yes.

Go to Config & choose to config English Language. Change "mainmenu:" to whatever you'd like it to read.

You may need to clear your browsers cache (and maybe close and open) before the change shows.

UPDATE: Hmm... tried changing this from Gallery Menu to Show Image Folders, but I'm not seeing a change... any ideas?

Permissions or xml cached.

When I originally made the changes I also didn't see it right away. Had to clear the cache, close the browser, then re-open the gallery.
