I'm on dial-up. I spent the day wrestling with the large screen sized documentations (don't fit on my screen) and finally began copying and pasting the info into a text document. My last version was ImageVue version was 15 so I was surprised, confused, and overwhelmed at the many changes available now. The confidence that I had for being able to quickly learn version 17 rapidly diminished when I saw there was a requirement to have 16.2 prior to 17.....so I have started with 16 and am SLOWLY progressing to 17. There was so much to learn that I spent all day on the computer and only touched on the main program. I'm stuck on a few things for lack of information or just failure to understand documentation. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I found out that there appears to be modules for slideshows and some other bits and pieces that I don't fully uderstand yet.

How about a PDF styled manual organized with bookmarked sections? Screenshots are nice for the visually oriented artistic types, who use the opposite side of the brain, as opposed to programmers. Programming is an alien environment to many people who are artisticly inclined. Programmers seem to write documentation in their language jargon too. I think the documentation is pretty good but there's a few areas that are vauge and left me at a loss for what to do. Version issues are abundant on the fourm. Just a suggestion for a better understanding of all the nice features that can become difficult to manage. THANKS...Sweet program!

Yes Karl, I understand the difficulty of dealing with what will be a growing set of users. The forum should help solve support problems more efficiently, by posting solutions for all to read. As a webmaster, I'm constanly studying various coding routines that have become woven together for functional web applications (through necessity). This is how I learn.

Forums are the best way to get a quick understanding to key issues and configuration set-up issues, inherhent within any new application's deployment. Your time and everyone's will be saved by useful information within these forums and a well developed documentation. I hope burnout doesn't get you. Keep up the good work and above all, enjoy your project as if it isn't work at all.
