Hello Mjau-Mjau!
Thanks for your response. I am trying to be proactive here and improve the software while contributing to the community. I'm passing on feedback I've received from clients - where they've said the backend is 'unusable' or 'barely useable'. But if you are not willing to receive feedback, free assistance and volunteers to improve the anomalies and further build upon the existing titles and descriptions, then that is your call.
I must admit, things have certainly improved since v2.7 and 2.6, which is why we've purchased a licence for testing, development and private use. I am willing to contribute to the community, however if you cannot see the advantage of beginner to advanced customers having a higher quality administrator interface, a smoother learning curve and pleasant experience, then I shall only implement the changes across client sites, who have all welcomed the improvements!
Re "conditions to the code" - the only modifications required to resolve this one particular example, would be:
- <option value="na">Name Ascending</option>
- <option value="nd">Name Descending</option>
- <option value="ta">Time Ascending</option>
- <option value="td">Time Descending</option>
- <option value="da">Date Ascending</option>
- <option value="dd">Date Descending</option>
- <option value="sa">Size Ascending</option>
- <option value="sd">Size Descending</option>
- <option value="rnd">Name Ascending</option>
Nothing more is required. No conditions etc. This resolves this particular example.
I am happy to go through and further improve these title/description phrases. I perform proof reading for clients and feel this will be an invaluable improvement to ImageVue.
Keep up the hard work.
