[Help] Admin login

23 Dec 2012, 03:47

Hello,
I have a problem with the login.
After I entered there as admin user and password, i still ended up in the login form.

The iv-config folder has chmod777. I have also deleted the users.php file several times. This will also be renewed each time.

A search in the forum did not help.

I hope someone could help me.

It might be an issue with uploading, when some files are misplaced or something on server but to diagnose it I would need the ftp login.

iv-config/users.php file is being re-created every time indeed, this is how Imagevue works. At the first run it creates a default admin/admin users.php.

Sorry an urgent travel appeared on my schedule and I was unable to check your installation since the last days before the new year were extremely busy. If you can keep the login working again I will try to take a look one more time.

Unfortunately you will have to contact your hosting support as the problem is with the server, not with Images. Data from login form don't reach php.

I suspect this might be related to incorrect settings of mod_security installed on your server. I have tried to disable mod_security using .htaccess from our troubleshooting page: https://www.photo.gallery/documentation/trou ... g/#suhosin but this produces error 500.

I have prepared a test link you can send to your provider.

Normally when you fill the form up you will see some data on top, in your case it just comes out empty after pressing login button. No data appear in php. $_POST global variable stays empty.

Please contact your hosting support.

First, thanks a lot.

I had a server update, then there was the problem.
After i reinstalled the server, everything works now.
