Displaying gallery within another SWF through XML.

18 Aug 2012, 10:52

I have a web site that loads external SWF files through XML. I'm trying to load the gallery within the web site and I'm simply just linking to:

/iv-includes/imagevue2.swf

It seems to work when the default is start view is the full image, but when the default start are thumbnails, the thubmnails don't load.

I understand that the gallery wasn't meant to be loaded this way, but I just really didn't want it to open in a new browser window.
Is there anything I can edit (maybe in the php) files to have the thumbnails load?

I attached a screen shot so you can see what I'm talking about.

Thank you!
Andrew

Is your main SWF also in AS2.0? It might not work if its created in AS3.0.

Can you please send a link to the gallery so I can take a look and figure out whats happening to the thumbnails?

Thank you for the reply!

The main SWF is in AS 3.0 actually. But if you can take a look at the gallery, I would appreciate it:

It is unlikely to work if loaded into an AS3.0 environment unfortunately.
But where is the link to Imagevue being loaded into another flash site? I tried the root website, but when I click "event photos", it opens in a new window so I can't diagnose this. It might be a lost cause in any case, but I could at least see what processes are not working and possibly why.
