Facebook Login?

02 Aug 2012, 05:05

Is it possible for users to log in the gallery with there own facebook login?
After there login i see them in the admin/control panel and i can choose a group for rights for them?

Sorry for my bad english, but im from germany and really i like this gallery, so im thinking about to buy it.

Regards
Mark

Sorry, but this simply is not a feature of Imagevue. It could perhaps be integrated but would require some time to create. Besides, I am not sure how they are supposed to login, and then after they login, you can "see" them in admin, and first then would you assign permissions.

But this is a very strange request. What other galleries has this feature? -> Anyone on Facebook can log in to admin, through Facebook login -> After login they cannot do anything, until -> Some script adds the login to some queue so that later, the superadmin can then create a group for the facebook user that logged in. -> Technically of course, this would require a login system 100% unrelated to Facebook, since it would need to identify the users in a unique login/group system stored with Imagevue. The only thing it would do from Facebook, is get their profile data without them having to write it into a field. I wanted a live unicorn for my birthday, but I didn't get one.
