wrong date

02 May 2011, 17:24

It seems like the date displayed under: Settings>Image>Text>date is the date uploaded not the date taken. I have only noticed this in the 2.7 beta, the date was the date taken before.

I am not sure now if we accidentally broke it , but could it be that you've uploaded images with resize option on which stripped exif data from file?

In any case it would be great to have a link to the file in question.

I have found where the problem lies, if I have metadata disabled then the date is the date modified or uploaded, but if when I take the tick away the date is correct (date taken) That also changes the order of the pictures

I was wondering when exporting pictures from lightroom and having minimize Embedded Metadata can be part of the problem with the date in imagevue?

To be honest, I don't know, you tell us. And if it won't work - send the image in question to our autopsy lab.

It's confirmed, when exif data is disabled it shows the upload date.

Sorry I was reffering to Lightview's "minimize Embedded Metadata". What of complete disable of meta data - yes, it just turns off everything related to EXIF/IPTC and GPS.

Yes, I instead went to the custom css and instead removed the metadata from the html there. I thought of the disable metadata to remove this info from the html, now after I did this everything is back to normal :-)
