I have set the default sort for files and folders to na... however the sort order of my images seems to be random. Is there something I additional I need to do? Hoping I don't have to set the sort order folder by folder.

I assume your files are sorted by name, but your folders may have inherited the new custom sorting feature by default. This means you can simply drag-n-drop folders to sort them as you like ...

Do you have a link to your new gallery?

I have the same issue with thumbnails not being sorted correctly, but haven't reported it because I have slightly changed some of the css and other layout stuff in the package and didn't want to cause trouble. What I changed shouldn't harm the sorting of thumbnails at all though. The issue started for me at version 2.5.

Some of my thumbnails are sorted OK by default, which is na. Some aren't. I have tried deleting a folders folderdata.xml + thumbnails and let it recreate but it does not help the issue. As of now, I have to set the culprit folders manually to na even though my default setting is DefaultSortFiles:na in the Control panel.

The folders are fine... it is the images that are not sorting correctly.

Doing a little more research on this I looked at the folderdata.xml file from one of my folders.

Noticed the sort field at the folder level is set to auto. In the Manage section of the admin my folders have sort = auto. In the settings section of the admin defaultsortfiles = na and defaultsortfolders = na.

I need to know how to change the file sort order for all of my folders without having to set it manually for each individual folder. I have a couple hundred folders.

Sorry, there is a bug with sort=auto which will be fixed in the next update.
