Have SWF appear at top of page rather than in the middle

29 Aug 2010, 00:39

When my imagevue gallery loads, the generated SWF appears in the middle of the page. Is there any way to have that appear closer to the top of the browser window? I'm a newbie.

The SWF covers your ENTIRE browser, not the top, and not the middle ... However, the image and the thumbnails are centered to the middle of the screen, and I am assuming this is what you mean ...

You can't just move these items upwards, because they are created and display based on screen-size. If it is REALLY important for you, you could always create an empty space at the bottom of document, but that sounds like a huge waste of space and will jeopardize the view on smaller screens.

Yeah, that is was I meant. When you go to the following link, you will understand why I want to push the image and thumbnails upward. This is because it requires the web user to scroll down the page in order to see the image and thumbnails. I just want to push it up a bit, so it is in view

Also, I do not know what you mean about creating a "empty space" at the bottom of the document. Can you please explain?

First of all, you are using Imagevue V1 which has be replaced by Imagevue X2 many years ago. Second, I wonder why you have set the HEIGHT of the imagevue gallery SWF to 1030px? Obviously it will be incredibly tall ... This is not as the default Imagevue V1 comes ...

I've taken over this account from another designer, so this is what I've been left with. I do not personally have experience with ImageVue, so that is why I am on this forum. What should be the default height? Where do I change that?

Is there an upgrade fee for X2?
