Well, we know this has been done successfully before, but there are some complications:

1. Imagevue likes to think it owns the stage, so it sets some global values like Stage.align ="TL" and Stage.scaleMode = "noScale". if your flash site is incompatible with these settings, it may not work properly.

2. Imagevue must be loaded into a movieClip at 0,0 with the align set above. This is because it uses the entire stage to align itself and position elements, and if it is loaded in incorrect position, all items will be offset and incorrect.

3. I believe your project must be created in AS2.0, and it may not work loading imagevue into an AS3.0 project.


Just as a side note, you could use the Imagevue admin/backend/XML to build your own gallery (This is just something we have been interested in promoting to developers for some time now).

Do you want to use Imagevue Admin (control panel) or the Flash frontend?

Then Imagevue can run along this flash, no problem. Except loading Imagevue into another swf ofcource.
