Customizing html gallery

17 Feb 2010, 19:19

Hi,

I use the default theme and have altered the color scheme drastically. I use the html gallery as a site suitable for mobile devices and would like the color schemes to match. How do I do this? And is there any potential danger to doing so?

Thanks!

I would have said that changing the color theme for the default gallery would be a bit tricky, because there are so many colors/elements that depend on the color/contrast compared to another element. But if you have hacked it already, then why not!

As for the HTML gallery, you have to manually edit the file:
imagevue/css/htmlstyle.css

You can actually do quite a LOT by editing this file, especially if you are familiar with CSS of course. i wouldnt say there are any dangers of editing this file, but please do make a backup of the original in case you take a wrong step!

Hi,

Thanks for your other reply. Editing this file has worked no problem (and looks cool!) but I can't seem to figure how to change the color of the little cross that brings up the menu. Is this perhaps in a different file? Or am I missing something.

Much appreciated....
