HTML Page for language selection ANYONE ???

06 Jan 2010, 02:51

I made a nice HTML front page to allow visitors to select the site language of their choice ( have to upload ImageVueX in whichever languages you require !!!) With the country flag it looks quite nice... let me know if anyone wants the HTML for it and I'll willingly supply it ??

SofTones, are you a graphics artist?

Your scapes are amazing, hard to believe there drawn. They look so real. Have you seen 2 advanced.com?

Amazing scapes similar to yours, but there are Sci-Fi related, anyway, go there and click the GREEN link in the main nav menu, you'll see there Asian / China themed page, it's really good, you might get some ideas there...?

I have been known as a GA... not so much these days, retired now, living a life of complete freedom and luxury... only do that stuff for my own friends and families ( got 2 families, one Brit, 1 Chinese..) my 中国人 family is out of this world... that's why things now have the Chinese flavour.... I live in China now, for the past 6 years.... that site you mentioned is a mind-blower ?? took AGES to load though, need a bit more bandwidth for that !!!!
You should check out my guestbook and flash chat ( from the yingwen( English) site)...

It's relatively 'near' to the start of the hilly region. The weather in the winter is akin to UK, but hardly a frost, and NO SNOW !!! had a sprinkle in 2005, the first for 15 years, people danced in the streets... short-lived though.. summer weather ranges between 28 - 40C.. airconditioning is a vital MUST especially at night !! I have an open invitation to anyone, including yourselves, you want to visit China?? come to Chengdu, you wont be sorry... and my invitation includes my wife and I bedding and feeding you... all you need is a visa and air tickets, we'll even pick you up from the airport ( you'll need a good bit of cash, for the goodies you can buy here, including all my friends' silk products, which I can get at vastly reduced rates !!!) When I came in 2004, there were a couple of 'westerners' kicking about... now there are quite a few.. I even introduced a few people from Sweden and other places, they have married Chinese women and have homes in Chengdu, one even lives in the same 'eastate' as me, and he will come here for 6 months beginning of February, so a few bottles of assorted nectar will be religiously emptied down the proverbial gullet !! I started a NEW life when I came here and I could talk about it all day... my friends, forget that utter RUBBISH you've been fed about China, government, people, communism and the rest... I have NEVER been so FREE, so welcomed and so 'looked after' in all my LOOOOOOOONG previous life... Wanna know more ??? email me for the story you only get in fiction and fairy stories......

BTW... I made a simple .swf for the background, after setting the frame rate from 40, to 30, to 20, to 10 and now to 5 fps in Flash, it still goes at full speed... any idea as to how I can slow it down ??? http://www.sinastudio.net/en/#/content/start/

hehe, certainly sounds like your enjoying life in China and I will certainly consider picking up on your offer one day! I am surprised its that mild in the winter - I would imagine it gets very cold so far from the ocean inland. I was in Hong Kong last winter, and even there it was going below 10 C ...

As for the framerate ... Unfortunately, all framerates are always inherited from parent SWF file, which is the imagevue gallery. The only way to make your clips run slower when loaded into a parent clip, is to either extend the interval between your keyframes in the animation, or by using some actionscript code to execute the animation based on time rules.

Pain, my friend... I had 1500 Chinese women ( all ages, all shapes and sizes, and all degrees of beauty on my previous life's website.... I actually managed to secure approximately 20 of them husbands !!!! believe me, it's hard work...
so I gradually 'kicked it into touch' as they say... my friend, if you are seriously looking for a wife, you CANNOT fault the Chinese woman.. and the world knows that the most beautiful of them come from Chengdu !! If you are joking, ok... but if NOT, let me know and I will give you your pick of 1000s of my most beautiful friends, only too pleased to communicate with you ( it needn't stop there, while I'm in full flow ?? have any mates who might be interested ?? ) It's very sad for me not being able to "fix" these lovely creatures up with a good man.... Don't forget my offer of a holiday !!! then you can meet some of these East`Asian Beauties for yourselves ... As it happens, I MAY put a small gallery up of a sprinkling of girls, just for the "advertising" Beauty, my friends, is in the eye of the beholder, but I can assure you, the "inner beauty" of the Chinese woman is a dream come true....

LOL, hey Pain, there's more women for you there than you could handle in ten lifetimes.

Not sure where your from, but I'm from the UK and there nothing like the girls here, feministic bitches! Over there girls are girls and men are men. Simple.

I'd LOVE to visit China! I love the language, writing, culture! Everything about it screams a better life. I mean look at their diet, how lean everyone is etc etc...

I was far too scared to go tho, lol. But after hearing Softones I'm not so worried. I'm going to plan a trip next year. 2011.

Might pop over and see you ST. ;)

You are very welcome, you need me to send you my "particulars" for your visa, as the reason for visiting China, it's very simple these days, but you need a valid address as your "visiting friends/relations"... let me know when you require it... Later, we may be able to discuss further, but need to wait for Karl to come up with a good idea ??
