PLEASE HELP!

08 Jul 2009, 00:10

Hello,

Little stressed here. My site will not respond. I have attached a screen shot of the error I received when trying to access the Admin. The site itself pops up but ll the gallery menu settings are gone. I am not even sure where to begin.

It seems that you've got an old version of X2. You need to install new one.

And of course you can pm ftp access to your server to pain and we will look deep into this

Im not sure who Pain is.

I wasnt aware that there was a new version. All the image galleries are still intact but for some reason I cannot access the Admin and the gallery menu is not working.

Would it be a good idea to upload the new version and keep the content folder intact?

Of course you can upload new version without changing your image files. You just need to re-upload everything from package except content folder.

I have uploaded the latest IV. That seems to have brought everything back to life. Thanks for that suggestion. I have not had time to look at the changes of the new version yet. I now notice when I look at the site that there are blue links above the gallery. Is this something that everyone can see? Can it be disabled?

Thanks again for the help

No, don't worry about that, only you can see it and only when you logged into admin. Just click 'close' if it disturbs you.

Thanks for the reply. I think its rather cool. I just wasn't sure. Glad I don't need to tweak anything else right now.

Thanks again!
