Ok, maybe I've not read something correctly (and I apologise if I have).

Looking at the online documentation:-

I see there's a fancy editor for the admin screen:-

But when I go into the admin console on 2.1.0, I see something very similar to what I had before (it just looks a bit neater). I also have no extra choices for image sorting (I was especially looking forward to being able to sort using EXIF date)...

Did I screw something up?

The picture in your post shows the admin menu of Imagevue V1!
You are using version X2.1.0.

Yea, thats Imagevue V1 ... We are in the phase of redoing our website, to clear a few things. Docs for Imagevue X2 are here:

I believe "sorting by EXIF date" should be automatic if you are using one the DATE sorting parameters. It will look for EXIF DATE if exists - If not, it sues the standard server creation time date stamp of the file.
