Flash Video thumbnails?

14 Apr 2009, 00:47

Hello,

I read an earlier post that referenced being able to set a thumbnail for flash video but I dont see how to do that.

Could someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the help!

Just add tn_filename.jpg (thumbnail) to your filename.flv (video)

By default Imagevue Admin will create default thumbnails for your flv files, if you open your folder in ftp you will see that each flv file is accompanied by matching thumbnail:

funny.flv
tn_funny.jpg

If you have custom thumbnail for you funny.flv, just overwrite tn_funny.jpg with your own custom thumb.

That did it...
Thanks.

I have a folder that has several videos. The folder default now starts playing the first video. Can I set a default to open the folder and show the video thumbs then select what to play?

Thanks...

This is a global setting for all folders in your settings, called startmode. If your gallery starts at first video instead of showing thumbnails, you must have set startmode=image in your settings.
