Exif data and image adjustments

17 Mar 2009, 14:52

Hi,
I've seen some of these errors here before, and I just want to know if they are being taken care of.

My "list" of errors:
Running 2009.02.24 of Imagevue X2...

EXIF:
Date and time - sets date and time to the moment the picture was edited last - the correct date for the shot should be embeded in exif somewhere.
Shutter speed: Fraction shows pointless numbers. (And is essentially the same as Exposure-time. Here, the fraction is also a bit meaningsless on some numbers.
Shutter speed should be something like 1/250 sec etc in my regard...

Image size:
I had an image set up at 1024x500-something, with the Exif placed on the right - but then the exif-field appear partially outside the frame itself.
(My current screenres is 1680x1050)
Seems like it is set to adjust the image size in the browser, based on the height available, but this makes pictures "push away" the Exif-field outside the browser, as soon as they are about 2x the height in width.
I'm also using Firefox 3.0.7 if that matters.

Let me know what you think, and I'm very sorry if I left something important out of my explanation.

Thanks,
Andy

Pain will have to look at your comments regarding EXIF ...

I would like to see a link to your gallery. By default, the EXIF data is set to display on image rollover overlaying the image. It does not make a differene how large the image is. If you have set the text to display on the right of the image for example, you will have to increase the image MARGINS to make sure the field is always visible ... at least if you are using large images.

Alrighty.
My gallery is located at http://anders.anker-rasch.no/gallery/
I'll take a look at the margin settings and see what I can do about it.
As you see, we can keep the rest of the conversation in our native language... ;)

Another issue, which it would be great if you could look at, is the following;
one of my gallery folders, "Travel", which contains only pictures is colored in the same color as the "textpages".
I haven't found any obvious explanation for why this happens.

Hmm I was sure we fixed EXIF in prev release. Probably escaped our grip somehow.
