language Problem

Can't display Chinese Lanuage.
I created chinese.xml of the imagevue, but can't display.

File must be in UTF-8, no comments above root node. Also try it in themes which does not using custom fonts ( ie not 'gardener')

Can display "Page", "Next Page"......
Only "Audio" and "volume" can't display... :cry:

Yes, sorry about that - We are still using an embeded font for the audioplayer simply because it looked much better. I will look into it ...

Do you have a link to your gallery in chinese? I would like to see it ...

Hi, Nick:

Sorry the my novice question..
When you said file must be in UTF-8 format, does it mean that I should create a chinese.xml file, then save (or covert) it as the UTF-8 format? I'm dying to try to get the imagevue X2 to display Chinese-BIG5 characters, but all in vain so far. Thanks..

Just do Save as.. > File encoding: UTF-8 from notepad

I thought this was handled automatically when creating new language from admin.
