Integrating Imagevue in website - swfadress + mod_rewrite

06 Oct 2008, 11:31

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right section for my issue and please forgive me my bad English!

As I'm trying to integrate Imagevue in an existing Layout I have problems with the swfadress feature. If the Gallery loads in a site reached over mod_rewrite the url doesn't change anymore.

Is there anyone who can help me?

It gets a little tricky with custom integrations, I think I would need to see a link ... Of course you need to integrate the SWFAddress javascript into your custom page at least.

Oh I really forgot it! Now the url changes with the pictures, but if you reload the page or open a bookedmark image, you will always receive the gallery's start page.

If I rename my htaccess and the gallery isn't in my layout everything works fine.. How are the anchors related with mod_rewrite?

If someone can give me a hint how to fix it, please do so!

I am not sure how they are related to mod rewrite. I would think they perhaps operated on an independent level since they they all follow the # character.

How have you embedded the gallery? Did you embed the SWF or are you using an iframe?

The # character doesn't reach the server, but is only "used" by the browser. I integrated the gallery in a CMS by embeding the SWF.

If you want to see the Website to give me further support please send me a PM!
