Would it be possible to add the support of videos as background, like Vista does ?

I don't know if which amout of work it represent but i think it would be a nice addition

I can imagine that it would be CPU intesive yes, but i'm thinking of something in really low quality, with a small loop, like 30 secs of video.

But if it can't be resized to the size of the site, then it won't be of any use i guess.

I don't know what you are saying with this part : "but technically it can be done" : are you talking about the SWF or SWF+Scale ?

I'm gona use the gallery as a nice flash CMS

The website is supposed to be only eye-candy with some informations.

So i think i will photoshop every thumbs and images to show some text and create a full website. (not sure if i'm explaining myself clearly)

With the MP3 player, the nice menu, the text pages, all the flash effects and the video background, i think i can do something really nice
