Nice gallery and content. I noticed you hadn't done many customizations, but I still have some comments:
# I think you should have the node-icon [+] in the main menu in a contrasting color - F.ex purple like you are using other places. It's so much easier to make out folders that contain subfolders, and ones that contain images. Just my opinion.
# I think you should update to the latest release 20081015. Besides a few improvements, the new release will allow you to upgrade your gallery without loosing your customizations.
