Hi, does anyone have experience/insights about hosting the gallery on a Amazon EC2 instance ?
currently only looking to see if it is well supported and that there are no issues with mod_security, permissions etc.
traffic volume and storage and less relevant at this point and could vary later on.

any recommendations for best plan ? im assuming Linux based server is the best way to go.
Thanks !

Sorry, I don't have any experience with Amazon EC2. We use Digital Ocean ourselves, and I'm assuming it's a very similar service where you setup your own virtual server.

Wouldn't this be something you control yourself since you basically need to install your own server bundle?

I can't say anything about their plans in general, but speaking on behalf of X3, Linux with PHP is the way to go ...
