How to fix slideshow on the top of the page?

I just wanted to put my slideshow on top of the page, as a banner slider.
I created the slideshow, but I don't know hot to fix it on the top, to let me add other things under.

In your page settings -> gallery, you need to select
"Use as Intro" for your slideshow layout:

Not quite sure what your plan is here though ... The point of the slideshow into is to have it full width and usually 100% stage height also. You have set the slideshow to mode "scaledown"? Normally, an image should be set to cover, or contain, especially for intro mode. We can't just remove that space, and it is part of the slideshow CANVAS. Why not use a larger image that scales down? Or adjust the slideshow height perhaps? What is it supposed to look like for those on ultra-high resolution screens? There will be lots of empty space.
If you don't want the image to scale (because it is too small), you should at least set the slideshow height to match the original image height, so you will not get empty spaces top and bottom.
