File tree ("Menu" to the left) missing

I copied the whole site and put it into a subdomain.
The web hosting site works like this; you create a subfolder, ie http://www.domain.com/sub-folder and the sub-folder becomes your subdomain.
When I go into subdomain.domain.com/panel, I cant see the file-tree, but when I go to http://www.domain.com/subdomain/panel it works.
Is it a htaccess issue?

I can't explain in exactly what the issue is without seeing the link, but:
- You can't generally run the website from TWO locations simultaneously. X3 needs to create and cache PATHS, and if paths are constantly fluctuating, then it could create path permission issues.
- Multiple paths/domains is simply a bad idea. Read this
- You may need to empty your cookies and cache ... Or try to login from a private/incognito browser window.

I would say no.
If you can offer link and login in private message, I can check.

I will provide you the login through PM in a minute.
1. It is not a matter of two locations. The site will is meant to be used from subdomain.domain.com/panel, but the menu vanished (I am sure I could see it previously). Where do I find the path-cache and re-generate them or so?

Answered PM. The panel does not cache the panel-menu, so it's not that. Likely something related to browser cache, although I can't pinpoint the exact cause.
