X3 has basic support for MP4 video files, which can be uploaded into any page/gallery, just like images. Keep in mind, video files will embed directly into the page, and display above the gallery thumbnails section. They don't "mix" into image galleries.

If you need videos with thumbnails mixed with normal images, you would need to upload "placeholder" images for each of your videos, and then assign a "link" for the placeholder images that point to video files uploaded in the same dir.
