I realize that you're away traveling at this time, so your reply can wait until you get back home, no rush.

I have had pretty-good success adding 360° panorama images to my X3 sites, and I am wondering if there are any type(s) of 360° panorama videos out there that X3 is capable if displaying similarly.  In the past I've come across some pretty-nifty such videos, and would like to try to experiment & add some to one of my X3 sites.

Just curious, to save myself endless days & nights of searching for something that X3 cannot display  :thinking:.

I think in most cases (at least on Youtube), this is referred to as VR (virtual reality), which allows users to control the "camera". Here is an example on Youtube:

So yes it's possible, but it will be a feature of the video player, not a traditional image-based panorama renderer like the one we use in X3. You could use Youtube and embed the video on your X3 website. I'm not sure if there are any self-hosted solutions, but I couldn't immediately find any ... I think it might be because it's a complicated technology that needs to "stream" only the visible part of the video to the client.
