Can Panorama pan speed be changed?

Hi, Karl,

Am I correct to assume that the speed at which Panoramas pan is hard-coded in X3 somewhere? If so, is there a way somehow that I can adjust that speed slightly?  I took a look at the help (?) for the Parameters field, but didn't notice which option might be the one to adjust the speed.

Thanks in advance & have a good day.

Regards,
John

You can try
autorotate_speed=0.2

Default is 0.1. I guess some passthrough options are not documented, but you should be able to apply it like other options in the "panorama parameters":

Nope, that didn't work.

I did take a look at the Panorama settings, and the default was 0.03, which I experimented with & settled on 0.07.

Thanks for your help, and have a great day.

So the setting worked?

Yup.  Not the autorotate_speed=0.2

Instead, I had to set the speed globally:

The default was 0.03 (I believe).  I tried a few higher settings... 1.00 was too fast, and 0.05 was still too slow... so I settled on 0.07

I realize that that location for setting the speed will affect the display of ALL my panoramas on that site, but I'm OK with that, as I have only 1 folder with panoramas, all similar.

You can see the result HERE.

Also, someone mentioned maybe 1 or 2 weeks ago, that we have not been receiving email notifications lately when people reply to our posts, even though Notify me when a reply is posted is enabled (check-marked).

Thanks & have yourself a good evening.

Yes, I'll be looking into it.
