Hide photo names

Maybe a simple question, but I can't find an obvious setting for it and also the forum search didn't bring any result: When viewing the photos the browser address bar shows the filenames at the end of the path (ie ...galerien/landscapes/#pid=DSC01234.jpg). Can this be turned off?

Yes it's possible. Go to main Settings > Popup, disable the History option.

Thank you, that's it. I wouldn't have thought of that setting, sounds for something else.

I can understand that. From a settings perspective, it's called "History" because when the URL changes, this is basically your browser History (technically and literally). There is no such concept as "hiding" something in the URL ... Either we push a new url into the browser history, or we don't. Keep in mind, with history disabled, you won't be able to SHARE popup links directly.
