Long titles aand grids

Hi!

Is there a way to set the titles of grids to have two lines without changing the formation? I don't want to make the font smaller, but I would also like to use slightly longer titles, since there is not much space on one line. Or is there another idea?

No, unless you add titles BELOW the images instead of above. That is why "inline captions", depending on the amount of text, are not appropriate for all layout types, and also why there are additional caption alternatives (overlay and tool). Options:
  • Use caption OVERLAY (where you now have the DATE) instead.
  • Add the title BELOW the images instead of above so they don't push the image down.
  • Include a custom CSS rule that limits the title to ONE line. Works fine, but it means your text will get cut off "Begenung von Mond und Jupiter am ...".
  • Use a different layout like columns, split grid or vertical.
  • Shorten your titles.
This is a logical consideration.

I think the solution with the overlay caption looks good for me. I like it. Would it be possible to set the date below the title? That would be perfect.

I assume you have located "Caption Overlay" settings and caption items? You can choose what items to display, and also edit the ORDER of items. Just delete/add items in the order you want.
