Automatically change the background color

12 Dec 2020, 11:44

Hi!

Im not sure, but maybe o found a bug. Or i do something wrong. When i use the Styler, the page looks the way I want it too. Like this:
2020-12-12 17_38_34-Window.jpg
2020-12-12 17_38_34-Window.jpg (135.39 KiB) Viewed 1416 times
But when i close the styler and reload the paage, it looks like this with an black background:
2020-12-12 17_38_34-Window.jpg
2020-12-12 17_38_34-Window.jpg (135.39 KiB) Viewed 1416 times
Then when i click on bottom right to open the stlyer, it shows the correct color again.

Is this a bug?

The styler is only for PREVIEWING styles. It does not actually change styles. Changing styles needs to be done from the logged-in session in panel > Settings > Style. You can use the styler to preview styles, find a combination, and then add it in settings.

Therefore, the behavior you explain is correct. The styler only previews styles for YOUR browser, and will remember settings when you toggle the styler. REFRESHING browser will reload page with original styles, unless you refresh with the styler open, in which case it will remember your applied styles. Once you have decided upon your style combination, and saved it from panel, you should DISABLE the styler option (so that your visitors cannot use it).

Thank you so much! So I thought wrong. These are two good tips, especially since I thought that the styler is only visible to me as admin on the homepage.
