Hallo everybody,
I have just finished setting my new website.

What’s yr opinion?

Looks good. Nice photos! I have some suggestions in regards to STYLE:

I see you are using the default X3 STYLE (skin, font, color). Nothing wrong with that if you like the default style of course, but making some changes would make your design more unique. If nothing else, perhaps change the GREEN color to the BROWN color you have in your logo?


You can change primary color in Panel > Settings > Style > Skin. Perhaps consider another font also? Maybe one that is a bit thicker.

Perhaps the logo is a bit too big? It probably looks good on large screens, but looks too big on my 13" macbook, and consumes too much vertical space.

Subjective suggestion: If you are using FRAMES around images, there should be more spacing between images. Either remove the FRAME, or increase the space between images in the grid.

I've changed a few things - now I am nearly happy with the layout...

Where can I change the language of the "number of images" on the folder preview picture?

There is one other thing...

I use the „Topbar Float“ Option as „fixed“ Topbar, but it seems to be not working on tablet and smartphone.. Is it a bug or a feature?

Sorry, interface element language support is coming in a future update later in 2018!

On tablet/mobile, the layout is always SLIDEMENU, not topbar. The slidemenu button is always available (fixed) top right on screen anyway. If you were thinking of also having the "logo" fixed on mobile devices, sorry it doesn't work like that with slidemenu. I wouldn't recommend this either, since mobile/tablet users have small screens and normally want to use the screen space for the website content they are scrolling through.

After a small visit and try of other scripts I am now back to x3...

Any thoughts on improving?

I don't have much more to say than before. Site works nicely :thumbsup:. If I HAD to make some suggestions, this is what I might say:

• The images selected on the home page slideshow have too much contrast. The one that looks good is the one with tree trunks in water (screen), but the others have too much contrast. Perhaps find some more mellow images?
• The organic skin with Lato fat font has a "heavy" design. Perhaps experiment with skins and fonts? Personally, I am fan of subtle skins and thin fonts, that put the websites photo/logo in focus.
• Could you use the carousel in your topbar menu?
