I've been having fun working with the beta... still lots to do... but it looks so much better than X2 that I had to move it from test to production!

Still have a sizable todo list to get video, pdfs, html files etc. going.

Also looking forward more features like display on map, enhanced panel, etc.

In addition I have a huge library of galleries... I love the mega menu... and will like to see it evolve to more easily support larger numbers of galleries.

Very nice work Karl... I am impressed. I think you made a good call to move into beta... there is no test like production!

You got some strange redirect going on ... the link above currently redirects to /Home/ in browser ... I remember checking it earlier, and it was working ...

Hi all,

After ditching the x2 version quite some time ago because of it's "old look" in html version, I am now definitely back with the x3 one. Good job !

I am still trying to tailor the site to my needs (changing color, icons, getting pinterest icon on the social footer...), but here is my work in progress :

Enjoy !

Looking very good there @raphynfrared. I noticed that in your mega menu, you are using a single level of sbufolders? This menu was mainly designed to work with 2 levels of subfolders, so that it creates columns with headers and items below. When looking at your menu though, it's doesn't look as bad as I thought it would, considering it was not meant to be used like this. I assume you prefer to use the list menu like this instead of the plain drop-down menu?

We are planning to build some mega menu option for single-level menus in multi-columns similar to the list you are using now.

Also, I see you are using the justified gallery layout method currently? This method is a bit dysfunctional for those folders with only a few images, and it also has an "orphan" bug which we need to fix ...

Thanks for the input Karl, I'll reconsider my menus and try different options tho.

Looking good there Illunis ... I like that you are using "column" layouts, which works very nicely for "people" photos ... Looking forward to see it in another skin!

Hi Karl,

After 10 days of no new 'I wanna See Your X3''s ....
I'm presenting my website which is up and running and already replaces my 'old' X2-one....

I'm very pleased with X3!
It such an improvement...
Experiencing photo's is so much greater/intenser now that they can be shown in full-screen slideshows and in much larger gallery previews...

Oh... and let me mention too the clarity and sharpness of the photo's when looked at on an iPad (when they've got the iPad resolution (2048x1365))... never seen them so sharp on a display...

Oh... and I also love the way images rescale themselves when the iPad is turned form landscape to portrait and vice versa...

Just click on my logo below to take a look.

Agree ... It has been focus since day 1 to make sure modern devices with double-density screen resolutions are served the image sources the deserve ... Else what is the point of such evolutions in screen engineering? Of course, it does increase the bandwidth and memory consumption to some degree, but it is worth it.

I really like your usage of the justified layout, with generous space between previews. I see there is some minor bug in the "frame" surrounding the images, as it is applied "double" ... I will look into that! I also like your simplistic approach of just focusing on the content, and even the footer is uncomplicated.

As with others, I am really looking forward to offer a few more skins so we can see your galleries in slight color variations. Next release will have a nice "stylepicker", so you can easily preview your gallery in real-time with several style combinations applied https://d.pr/i/154KZ. Shortly after, we will be looking into launching several more skins also.

Btw: If you are partially finished editing your gallery, then why not try to set preload: true in your settings? It will make the gallery blazing fast to navigate ...
