Hello,
I'm new here,I'm a professional photographer, and I'm evaluating this software especially for events where we have a server where we load the photos and customer choose them from a series of laptop.
I'm testing as said this software and I encountered this issue after a easy and positive installation.
When I upload the pictures to a gallery I can't see the images and I get this error message:

2 symlink () : Could not fetch file information (error 3)
File :C:\mypath\app\parses\slir\slir.class.php
Line 1185

After that I refreshed the page and the images were shown.A further refrhes lead to the same error,shown within the thumbnail of the image.
If I go in the Panel>Gallery again sometimes I see the images and sometimes not.

I can't say exactly WHY you are getting this error on the X3 image resizer, but sounds like this is Windows server and there is definitely some issue with symlinks. Try go to Settings > Advanced, and DISABLE "Symlink request cache" under Image Resizer options.

Yesterday I tried to find something on the net, someone had the same issues but with a different software.
Anyway,thanks a lot I can begin testing now,
