unable to copy/move pictures within the panel

14 May 2016, 03:21

Hi,

I would like to relaunch my website (the previous v2 to the new X3).
last year I played a bit with the beta, and last week I installed the latest version of X3. Now playing with some quick and dirty content.
Looks good, some more testing and i'll decide on the upgrade purchase.

I have one big issue open that I cannot solve. Don't know if it's a bug or something server related.
As this worked in the past (with my previous beta tests) I guess this might be a setting/bug.

when I select pictures in a certain album and try to copy/move these to another album the panel keeps processing this request. with no result.
Any Idea what's wrong?

Thanks for the input.

hmm, got panel login so I can try?

Traditional "file management" isn't a core feature of the X3 panel, and I would generally try to avoid it for a few minor reasons.

Hi Karl,

login in direct message.

Not looking for real file management, but to copy a selection to "compilation albums" (for example to the hidden album where I only have landscapes for the intro slideshow).

Regards,
Thijs

For reference to others, this was/is a firewall issue.

Indeed solved!
Thanks Karl!

Also thanks to my provider for fixing this.

It was ModSecurity rule being triggered due to Generic Path Recursion access attempts.
it means that the command generated by your script is triggering the security rule and it is being blocked.
