Mozilla Firefox locking in x3.17

Hi Karl,
on multiple PCs running windows 7 x64 Mozilla is locking on the new gallery and have to kill the process.
Also, the language in the panel is maybe French??

Not sure what this could be ... anyone else can test please? Does the issue occur also for the
demo gallery?

Maybe French? Not unless you have selected French language on login. We certainly haven't added anything French recently ...

In the log in screen is the default language French. I also have to select English every log in.

It wasn't like this before? When I go to panel, new incognito browser window (no cookies or cache), I see English as main language:

Confirmed - I tried 3 different X3 0.17 websites (including the demo) and can confirm that on an x64 Mozilla Firefox locks up tight. I also retried the same in "Safemode" of the browser (which doesn't load any plugins) and got the same result. For me the freeze is almost instantaneous. No way out but to "end task" the program. I tried to wait it out and get a error report, but after ½ hour I gave up.

I browse the demo with FF latest 64 on W10 Pro and never had any problem...

No problem for X3.17 on W10 - 64 bits and firefox 45.0.2 64 bits

I can't reproduce this error. Tried both Mac osx and Win 10 with latest Firefox 45.0.2 ...
What version of Firefox are you guys using?

I was using v31, upgraded to 43 and now is loading without locking, but it is laggy, no experience like chrome.

Well, locking and laggy are two entirely separate things ... I can't control how browsers render the content. Could be your browser had unresponsive plugins, was updating or some other process going on outside our control. You can check activity monitors or other tools perhaps ...
Glad the locking is somewhat solved.

It was locking when tested with Windows 7 and Firefox Version 40.0.3.

Fixed already! Update available shortly ...
Fixed bug where input text for NEW folder and RENAME file/folder is invisible in Firefox
