I know you have stopped the download of the beta but I hope you are still looking at the problems we may be having. I opened my page and your example page, my page without making any changes except for some permissions and following your instructions very carefully, my page does not load up completely. See image. The example images won't display at all.

It is the mod rewrite problem. Update the stacey php file but no change. I will keep an eye out for related posts.

Yes, we are very much looking into issues of current X3 beta users, and this is top priority ... That is why we blocked download until we feel we have solved a few main issues, and can move on ... That is also why I wish you could post a link to your gallery and/or problem page, or how are we supposed to respond?
I would very much like to see a link when you post a problem, so I can check whats going on ... Also, very curious why and what you updated in the PHP file, because I can't see how that is related to anything. It is the .htaccess file that primarily sets mod_rewrite rules.
Until I see a link, can diagnose the issue, this should go under "help" and not "bugs".

All the problems you are having are related to something with the mod_rewrite not running properly on your server. If you can offer FTP, I can try a few things tomorrow ...

I think I have discovered the basic setting that needs to be set on some server for mod_rewrite to work properly.
Now I need to research this further to see if I can automate it ... We can't leave rewriteBase active by default because it basically force-sets the x3 folder location ...
