Hi!
Really miss the possibility to search in X3. Many visitors of my site complain that they can't just enter information (Title of the photo) in a special form and find it.
Do you plan to implement this feature in the future?

You mean you want a search field somewhere, that searches through ALL images in all your folders, and returns a list of all images that partially match their search?

Yes I suppose it's a feasible request. The challenge with X3, is that it doesn't use a database. Instead, X3 focuses on high-performance fast output with pre-rendered cached pages that load quickly. Searching through all images in your website would be painfully slow if done real-time, unless we add a feature to "index all images for search" from the panel, which would create a data file that can be used by the search.

But yes, I would be happy to eventually look into this ... but for now, I cannot be more specific than "later in 2017".

Sorry, been busy with our Files app lately, which will become the fundament of panel 2.0.

You are asking for global search (eg search ALL images in your entire website)? Or just search/filter images on the same page? Both these features are in our list of features to add. Filter-search already exists in our new Files app (see link above).
