Rating widget, perhaps ...

Comments module without third party service? No. Why do you require that if I may ask? X3 already works natively with Disqus, which is a superior comments service, that allows easy login and verification, prevents spam, and is easy to manage ... Even Wordpress websites have started using Disqus now instead of their own Wordpress comments, because it's easier less problems. Creating a native comments-module is not productive, as you will have too much trouble with registration issues, spam and management. Why recreate what Disqus already have spent years creating?

The demo used to have an example of Disqus usage in X3, but I forgot about it.

You can find Disqus Comments in Imagevue X3 here (bottom of page):

Certainly. From panel, navigate to the blog page (or any page) where you want Disqus comments to appear, page settings -> modules -> "Include Disqus Comments".

You will need to add your Disqus account "shortname" first in main Settings -> Accounts -> Disqus Shortname.

Thank you for advice.

You mean image rating, correct?

Basically, you want a visitor to be able to RATE an image (for example 1-5 stars). The rating for each image would then be visible for each image?

the Feature was for me interesting for customer of wedding photography.
In the protected area can be the picture rated. Thats good feedback to me.

I like, It is interesting that the client can mark the photo as for example to put a star.

Something like this:

Sure. We need to plan new features properly though, as we can't just toss out a new features that are incomplete. Do you want the rating to be public? Eg. can everyone who views the gallery see the average rating for each photo? I would assume yes, else the rating average would have to be visible only from the panel. Also, everyone who can view the gallery would be able to rate it of course ... We would need to add a rating-limiter (per browser), so that nobody can rate an image twice.

Yes, also cool. This is only a star (favorite) though, and I'm assuming it would be a separate request.

Also, from the screenshot, that seems more like a "lightbox" system, where the visitor is actually marking images, and will send this in a request after images are selected. This is planned already for our future lightbox/proofing system, but I don't think I think a rating module would have to be separate.

Already have comments. For example, see this page and scroll bottom:
https://demo.photo.gallery/examples/features/post/
https://demo.photo.gallery/galleries/la ... ntarctica/

Or were you thinking of something different?

As for RATING, yes we are looking forward to something like this. Rating would be a simple star :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: system, where the visitor would click 1-5 stars to rate an image. This is what you were thinking of?

We have here 3 points of requests.

The First is mark Photos as selected and can send to me as Owner or Photographer.
The Second is rating the Photos in protected or public Gallerys.
The Third is Comment Functionality from protected and/or public Gallery

With the Disqus Comment Functionality you need be registred User or automatic Login with Facebook or Google+. Not any User or visitor my website will be registred on Disqus.
