[request] Please disable showing password in plain-text

Hi,

i just had a request - please disable the plain-text showing passwords in panel.
feel free to let the password show after getting in the passsword-field.

hope to get an update

You mean from within the panel, protected folders section?

It's important to be able to look-up your own passwords here. Keep in mind, these logins are just to protect access to a page, and are not considered sensitive ... They do not allow anyone with access to actually do anything. So I am wondering, is the website-owner worried that someone is spying on the screen from a public location, in which case they would be able to view a page and that's it?

Hi mjau-mjau,

no i mean withing these places in the Panel:

SETTINGS --> PANEL --> Password (below username)
SETTINGS --> MAIL --> SMTP Password

Working in IT, I was also a bit "surprised" to see those in clear text after the update.

I've agree with Karl. It doesn't matter to see my own password. Its better the owner can check it out their passwords correct or not. :D
