This will be possible. I will explain in detail after release, but for now all you need to now is that passwords are "recursive". For example:

protected link: galleries/
This will protect the link galleries/, as well as any sub-pages, for instance galleries/himalaya/

protected link: / (index page)
This will protect the home page /, as well as any sub-pages, which are basically ALL your pages.
