Uploads with JSON.parse error

08 Apr 2019, 06:40

Hello -
I am currently evaluating the trial version of X3 and get these error messages while uploading:
Error SyntaxError: JSON.parse unexepectet c
How can this error occur? Are there file size or dimension limits defined by X3?
Is there a log file for these error messages?
It works when I use my provider's administration program for uploading, but this way is not convenient.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. I need to diagnose the issue ... admittedly, the error message is not helpful, because it's just corrupted JSON output, which means something went wrong.
  1. Does the same happen when you only upload ONE of the files above?
  2. Can you send me one the images so I can test locally if it's related to the image?

Hello and thanks for the answer.
Yes, it works if I upload each file separately. Sometimes I can even upload 2 or 3 together without errors.
I will send you the files by private message.
Thank you for your efforts!

It seems like a server issue, I have seen it before.

Can you check your diagnostics page yourwebsite.com/?diagnostics ... There will be some info about upload limits there.

Likely, I will need login to your panel so I can try on your server, assuming it's not related to the files, but the amount of files uploaded simultaneously.
