Hello,

one of my websites ist running currently on the latest Wordpress version and I want to keep it that way. But I would also like to use the X3 Gallery on a Subdomain to create several protected galleries.

Is it possible at all?

Yes, why not? We run several of our X3 websites on subdomains. A subdomain is just like any website, and with your X3 license you can run X3 on as many subdomains of your primary domain as you like.

Just make sure your subdomains are setup properly (server/apache config). I have seen users with subdomains using iframes or redirects, hacked by the host, causing problems.
