Copy entire X2 to DVD
I have switched to new beautiful X3 and am going to start from scratch. However I have hundreds of images with text telling about each image on the old X2, which I would like to keep, as I am going to restructure the new design. On the filemanager of my webhotel I have all the images, but not the text. Is it possible to make a DVD or USB copy of the entire X2 website?

I forgot to mention that I am using an iMac, and I have only found Windows software on the internet.

You can make a copy of X2 to your Mac, or to USB, or even to a DVD. It will only be a BACKUP though, as you can't run web-applications (like X3) directly without web-server (PHP) support.sopax wrote:Is it possible to make a DVD or USB copy of the entire X2 website?
It doesn't matter if you are on Mac or Windows: Yes you can make a backup, but no, X2 will not be able to run directly from the USB or DVD.
Did you look at the X2 -> X3 upgrade script?
