Hi Karl,
I was looking for an option to (up)scale images to fit stage (without cutting). I only found sush settings in Slideshow fit in pages dialog. From there I liked "contain" option, but this doesn't affect image popup from columns layout. Is there such an option I coudn't find or it has to be done with custom code?

Are you sure you want to scale UP images? It is pretty normal to scale the image to max browser dimensions, but limit it to the image original dimensions. If the image scales above its natural dimensions, it will become blurry and doesn't really provide any viewing advantage. When the image is displaying at exactly 100% original size, it is at it's most "crisp" quality. This is the same as how it works at facebook.

The reason this works for some slideshow settings, is because the slideshow has other functions in X3, and should work well with "concepts" in the design and layout ... For example a "start page". The popup has only one function: To display the whole image in best possible view for the visitor.

Yes, I am aware it is not great as per quality wise, but it is something I needed and I thought I was missing somewhere an option.

Currently, the popup does not have setting "scale images up to cover screen", and I would be reluctant to add it as a feature until I am convinced it makes sense. :thinking:
